This past week was filled with reunions and farewells. The receptionist at our law firm had her last day because she was leaving for law school. She's got more ambition than I do, because law school is definitely not up my alley. She came back after her last day to have lunch with our "
lunch crew". Lauren was my buddy at Cooley (where I work) so now, I have a void. We would go to lunch together, have arts and crafts (shh, our bosses don't know that! Plus, it was all in good fun to help celebrate co-workers birthdays!) time together. We really had fun together. I know that Lauren has bigger and better fish to fry than Cooley, but it doesn't make it any less sad that my buddy is off to San Francisco!! I'm excited for her and I know that she'll do great things on this new endeavor of her life! Good Luck Lauren!! BTW - I don't know what the heck happened to this post, and I don't know how to fix it!!
